Semester Support
Guidance Beyond Acceptance
Investment: $2,200 | Per Semester
Getting Started
All Semester Support engagements begin with a Strategy Session. This initial session allows us to understand your student’s academic and financial circumstances, identify priorities, and determine whether ongoing support is the right fit.
If you move forward with Semester Support during the same academic year, your $300 Strategy Session investment will be applied in full toward the $2,200 Semester Support engagement.
College decisions don’t happen just once. They happen all semester long.
From course selection and academic progress to changes in major, unexpected challenges, financial decisions, and new opportunities, students face decisions that can affect both their education and their family’s financial investment.
Semester Support provides ongoing strategic guidance throughout the semester so families can make those decisions thoughtfully, rather than reactively.
How Semester Support Works
A structured, semester-long advisory engagement built around four ongoing steps.
Assess
Review the student’s academic and financial position, priorities, and upcoming decisions.
Monitor
Stay aligned with academic progress, upcoming decisions, and changing circumstances.
Advise
Evaluate new opportunities, challenges, and decisions through both an academic and financial lens.
Adjust
Refine the strategy as circumstances change throughout the semester.
What Ongoing Support Looks Like
Semester Support is designed to provide an experienced advisor throughout the semester—not just when a major issue arises. Families receive ongoing strategic guidance as academic and financial decisions come up, with support designed around the student’s individual goals and circumstances.
Throughout the semester, support may include:
- Scheduled check-ins to review academic progress, upcoming decisions, and changing priorities
- Guidance on course selection, registration, and academic planning
- Evaluation of changes in major, academic direction, or degree progression
- Strategic guidance when academic challenges or unexpected circumstances arise
- Evaluation of transfer opportunities or other significant academic decisions
- Analysis of the financial impact of academic decisions, including changes that may affect time to degree or overall college cost
- Ongoing communication between scheduled check-ins when an important decision or question arises
- Follow-up recommendations and adjustments to the student’s strategy as circumstances evolve
The goal is not simply to solve problems as they arise. It is to help families make thoughtful decisions throughout the semester, with both the student’s academic progress and the family’s financial investment in mind.
Every decision is evaluated through two lenses
What is best for the student’s academic path?
What is the financial impact on the family?
